Reminder: Temporary increase to vehicle allowance for Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award and Aged Care Award

Employers are reminded that the Fair Work Commission has decided to temporarily increase the motor vehicle allowance from $1.01 to $1.05 per kilometre effective from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 September 2026 for employees covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and the Aged Care Award 2010. 

The allowance will revert to $1.01 per kilometre in both awards from 1 March 2027.
