Man Files Stop Bullying Application Against Fair Work Commission
An applicant describing himself as a ‘lay advocate in past and current proceedings’ before the Fair Work Commission has filed an anti-bullying application in the Fair Work Commission (FWC). Unusually, the application is made against the FWC and 25 people. Those 25 people consist of 19 existing members of the FWC, four retired members and two management employees or officers.
A Statement issued in the matter by Deputy President Anderson of the FWC discloses that the applicant claims in his application that he is a lay advocate in past and current proceedings before the FWC and that he has been subjected to bullying conduct by the FWC and its members in the course of past proceedings and in its decisions and orders.
